Spring on the Ave: Celebrate Community and Creativity in Spokane’s Sprague Union District

Spring has officially arrived in Spokane—and there’s no better way to soak it all in than with Spring on the Ave, the neighborhood’s signature seasonal celebration. Set for Saturday, April 26, this one-day event transforms the Sprague Union District into a lively block party filled with music, shopping, art, and family-friendly fun.
Whether you’re a longtime local or new to the neighborhood, this is your chance to support over 25 small businesses, discover new favorites, and experience the best of what the district has to offer.
What to Expect
Live Music & Street Vibes
Local bands and musicians will keep the energy high throughout the day with live performances along the avenue, creating the perfect soundtrack to your spring stroll.
Local Retail & Pop-Up Shops
Retailers and makers from around the district will be showcasing their spring collections, flash sales, and limited-time offers. Expect a mix of handmade goods, curated fashion, home décor, and creative pop-ups.
Kids’ Corner & Family Activities
Families are in for a treat with activities like face painting, a spring-themed photo booth, and more interactive fun in the dedicated Kids’ Corner.
