Celebrating Youth in Agriculture:
The JLSS is a platform for over 450 young exhibitors from the Pacific Northwest to showcase their hard work and dedication in livestock projects. From feeding and caring for animals to marketing their products, these youth learn essential skills in food production and management.
Engaging Education and Community:
Throughout the event, attendees can engage with youth producers to learn about agriculture, sustainable farming practices, and the importance of food sources. Witness livestock exhibits on May 2nd and 3rd, and don't miss our annual livestock auction on May 4th, featuring locally produced beef, pork, lamb, and goat available for bidding. Support area youth while filling your freezer with quality meats!
Farm Fair and Youth Outreach:
In addition to the JLSS, we host an annual Farm Fair that reaches over 1,000 inner-city elementary students, educating them about agriculture's vital role in our lives. Join us in promoting a deeper understanding of food production, sustainability, and community engagement.
Join Us in Supporting Youth Producers:
Be part of this enriching experience that celebrates the next generation of farmers and agricultural leaders. Admission is free, so bring your family and friends to explore the Junior Livestock Show of Spokane and connect with our vibrant agricultural community. Contact our office for more information and get ready for an inspiring showcase of youth in agriculture!
