Fright Flight: In the Dark Canyon No One Can Hear You Scream

Every October, Mica Moon transforms from a scenic adventure park into something much darker. On Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, 2025, thrill-seekers are invited to experience Fright Flight—a nighttime zip line adventure through Liberty Lake’s shadowed canyons. This isn’t your typical zip line tour. It’s an adrenaline-charged plunge into darkness, where the only sounds are the wind, the night, and your own heartbeat.

The Ultimate Night Adventure
Your evening begins with a rugged UTV ride up the old Moonshine Trail, winding into the canyons above Liberty Lake. As the last traces of daylight disappear, your real adventure begins — three massive zip lines, each one pushing your nerves to the limit.
-
The Point of No Return: The first launch sends you soaring into the night sky, high above the treetops, with only the hum of the line and the rush of air around you.
-
Bootleg: Cross a sky bridge into the next challenge — a shadowed canyon once known for its hidden secrets. The darkness turns every glide into a mystery.
-
Big Mama: Nearly two-thirds of a mile long, this legendary line is one of the biggest in the country. You’ll speed silently across the canyon, surrounded by nothing but night.
By the time your feet hit the ground, you’ll be breathless — part from the adrenaline, part from the realization that you just conquered the dark.
What to Expect
-
Limited Spots: Fright Flights are available only during October and often sell out quickly.
-
Dress Warmly: October nights in the mountains can be cold, so come prepared with layers and sturdy footwear.
-
Pure Adrenaline: No lights. No sounds. Just speed, silence, and the thrill of flying through complete darkness.
Why You’ll Love It
Fright Flight isn’t just a zip line — it’s a test of courage and one of the most unique outdoor experiences in the Pacific Northwest. For anyone who craves adventure with a side of fear, this is the event that turns the night sky into your playground. Dare the dark canyons, embrace the unknown, and discover why no one can hear you scream.
