Join us at Nuestras Raíces Centro Comunitario on November 2nd from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of Día de Los Muertos. This family-friendly event honors the memories of loved ones with beautiful ofrendas, traditional music, delicious food, and cultural activities for all ages. Whether you're familiar with Día de Los Muertos or experiencing it for the first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Pre-Event: First Friday Ofrendas and Catrinas Exhibition

- Time: 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
- View stunning ofrendas and an exhibition of Catrinas on display, celebrating the artistic and cultural traditions of Día de Los Muertos.
Activities & Festivities
- Community Ofrendas: Bring a photo of a loved one or pet to add to the community altar and honor their memory.
- Live Music and Dance: Enjoy performances by Mariachi Las Aguilas de EWU, Ballet Folklorico de Spokane, Danza Azteca Tlecoatl, and singer Kataleya Garcia.
- Kids’ Activities: Fun for the little ones with piñatas and face painting.
- Food and Craft Vendors: Indulge in tacos, pupusas, pan de Muerto, and more.
- Spokane Latino Hispanic Business Expo: Explore local businesses, services, and products from Latino and Hispanic entrepreneurs in our area.
- Catrina Contest: Dress as the iconic Catrina character and compete for a prize.
